Scholarships

In Middle Park, we strive to promote our youth and agriculture. We are so fortunate to be able to help support our youth attending college or trade schools through scholarships. 

Middle Park Cowbelles

Beginning in 2012, the Middle Park Cowbelles have awarded a $500 scholarship to one student from Grand and Summit counties based on an essay applicant wrote titled "The Benefits of Beef".  Applicants chose to focus on one of four topics: Nutrition and Health, Financial and Economic, Environmental or Heritage.

The Middle Park Farm Bureau also awarded a matching $500 scholarship to a student based on the same essay from Grand and Jackson Counties.

Annika Stuart is the 2023 recipient of the Cowbelle and Aida Hester is the Middle Park Farm Bureau's recipient.

Middle Park 
Stockgrowers
Association

Every Year, the Middle Park Stockgrowers Association awards a scholarship to a graduating senior in West Grand, East Grand or Summit County who plans to continue his/her education in the arena of agriculture, including but not limited to agronomy, agricultural business, animal science, equine science, and natural resource management.

 

For 2023 , the Middle Park Stockgrowers have awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Aida Hester.

Middle Park Conservation District

The Middle Park Conservation District awards a $500 scholarship to a graduating Middle Park senior. Applications for the scholarship are accepted from seniors in West Grand, East Grand, and Summit County. Applicants are to be continuing their education in Natural Resource Management, Conservation, or Agriculture.”

This 2023, the Middle Park Conservation District was awarded a scholarship to Grace Wahl.

Park 4-H Scholarships

The Middle Park 4-H Scholarship was first established on February 7, 1994 at the Middle Park 4-H Council meeting, with $2575 seed money. The Middle Park 4-H Scholarship Fund is a locally funded and operated non-profit run through the Middle Park 4-H Council. The fund offers scholarships for high school students who have actively enrolled in Grand County 4-H pursuing an accredited secondary education. The Middle Park 4-H Scholarship is managed by the Middle Park Scholarship Advisory Committee, a group of local citizens who are passionate about the local 4-H program.
