All events are open to children ages 1 to 16. Contestants will be divided into age groups, with youngest children participating first. Generous cash prizes will be awarded for all kid’s events.
BOULDER ROLLING CONTEST: The younger kids will have a much easier course to go through and we will make it harder as we go up in age levels. They will have to roll, or move a round object through an obstacle course. We will add things to the course as we move up in age levels.
DUCK TEAM PENNING: I will have several ducks of all kinds there with different colored ribbons on there feet. We will have the kids team up according to age groups. They will then be put in with the ducks and we will call out a color and they will have to chase all 3 ducks with that color into a pen. The team with the fastest time wins. As you all know, the older we get the harder I will make it.
STICK HORSE RODEO: We will have bucking shoots set up and the kids will have to start out in  the shoot with there stick horse. We will ask their horse’s name and they will be announced out of the shoot on that horse. They will have to show us their best bucking techniques.

Without you wonderful and very generous people we would not be able to pay for great prizes and allow the kid’s to have so much fun. I love having such great people to work with. I owe a HUGE thank you to all of my volunteers. I can not thank Thad Scholl with Town & Country Insurance enough for doing all of the announcing. Without you Thad there would not have been a show you are the greatest. I also have to say thanks Thad for the donation of the gunny sacks and sticks for the stick horse race. I had a lot of parents giving me great compliments about your announcing. You are awesome!
Mary Rayner I can not even express how much I appreciate all that you do for me every year. You come and give all of your time and hard work to make everything run so smooth. Thank you for the donation year after year of the orange cones we use. Mary you are always there and willing to do what ever is asked of you. It is so great to work with you! You are wonderful!
I owe an enormous thank you to the other volunteers that help year after year. Thanks Mike Hergenreter & Ester Camp for coming from Craig every year. Mike, thanks for helping Joe hauling the hay and straw and using your pickup truck. You are great Mike. Ester I appreciate all of your hard work and bringing the stick horses for the prizes. Jan Toyne, I can not thank you enough for all your hard work year after year. I could not do my job as a kid’s games superintendent if you were not there to do all of my other jobs for me. I owe you the world Jan. Thanks to Nancy Stuart again for donating the use of the green wagons for the smaller kid’s so they can play all of the games. You are the most awesome person Nancy thanks again. Thank you Rebecca Eller for all that you help me with every year. I give you lists of things to do and you are always there for me, I greatly appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Jodi & Frank Docheff I can not say enough about you guys either. You are always there to help me with what ever needs to be done. Frank thanks for all of your help with the moving of hay and straw bales and use of your tents to keep us dry. I appreciate you guys so much; words can not express my gratitude. Thanks to Rick & Amanda Wahl for always being there to participate in all of the events and supporting me this year with the resale money from the 4-H livestock sale.
